We promised to learn from the past three online editions of Revision and try to preserve what made them great. Without a doubt, the Satellite Events in 2022 were one of these aspects.

Thanks to other demoparty organisers from around the world, Revision will remain a global event, giving people who won’t be able to come to Saarbrucken the chance to participate, make friends and get in touch with these great local communities and organisations that promote demoscene world wide.

And this is not all - thanks to them, sceners and other interested locals will be able to enjoy and partake in all Revision competitions and special events… for free!

What are they asking for in return? Show up, celebrate with them, be welcoming to new or interested people… and consider shouting them out if you submit productions in the Revision competitions!

All of these organisations welcome donations and/or helping hands - also outside of the Easter weekend to help promote the demoscene.

Please pre-register for the event you would like to attend, as they all have limited space!

The idea

• Host an event open to everyone (no invite-only/members-only/release-only, etc) at a physical location
• Make it a watch-party or get creative by adding your own flavour to your satellite - feel free to come up with own compos and other happenings for your guests to participate in!

Must haves

• Health and Safety Regulations must be complied with
• Add “Revision Satellite Partner” to your event’s name / subline / tagline
• Show the main competitions to your visitors
• Organised by (in the best case experienced) non-profit demoscene organisations or groups, not by single individuals or profit-oriented companies
• Entry fees for the admission to your satellite event are permitted to cover the costs, but not turn a substantial profit.

• Your guests will receive access keys to participate and vote in the Revision competitions
• We will advertise your event on our website, social media channels etc
• Option to be featured on Revision’s stream/on-site presentation, or our VOD- and Social Media channels
